The test is finally over.

They waited all day, finally had the test late this afternoon, and the Dr.s didn't come by until this evening. The good news is that there is no obstruction. The bad news is that they still don't know what is causing this bloating. Dad was not able to take his feedings last night, even through the j-tube, because of the bloating and pain it was causing.
They are going to meet with a GI Dr. and also a nutritionist. They are possibly going to change the type of formula he is taking, and also maybe let him eat something soft by mouth, and not give him the formula at all to see what happens.
I am not really sure what the plan is. Mom was exhausted, she was talked out, and said she wasn't sure how long they would be there, or when they would let him go.
Thank you all for praying, JJ

Jan and Mike

Praise God that there is no obstruction!!!. We are praying for you guys. Please please please dont go home until you get more answers and get some things resolved. I know you want to be home but you really need the drs. to get Mike's condition under better control. Even if you have to be there for a while don't give up hope that they will find some answers. They can't find the answers if Mike is at the ranch. Hang in there and no that so many people are praying for you. Love the Janszen family!!!!

Thank you Jan for sharing that wonderful passage in Daniel for all of us to pray together for Mike. It is a blessing & encouragement to me. Nothing is more powerful than reading and praying those God-breathed scriptures He's given us. And we will all keep it up...asking Him "to make known to us what we have asked of HIM".

Lord, fill up Jan with Your great strength, Your peace and encouragement as I know her days and nights are long & weary as she tenderly cares for her life partner & best friend and encourage Mike's heart through this stressful time of waiting for helpful answers & solutions.

Know you have a lot of praying friends supporting you & Mike through this time of challenge.
Love ya,
Sandy

Psalm 68:28 "Summon your might, O God. Display your power, O God, as you have in the past." (Just like you did for Daniel...we know You are able!)
I Kings 8:59-61 "And may these words of mine, with which I have made supplication before the LORD, be near to the LORD our God day and night, that He may maintain the cause of His servant and the cause of His people Israel, as each day requires, So that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God; there is no one else."

Praying Zephaniah 3:17 over you!

I'm so glad there was no obstruction!!

Jan,
Jim want's to know if he can give you any relief in Houston. He is available to sit with Mike a while so you can have some time off.

We are also praying that the answers be found and also hope ya'll don't leave the hospital without them.....except for a huricane, of course. YOu can come here until it passes and then go back if you want to stay close.

We know you are tired of talking but if you read this blog and we can help please call.

Much love,
Jim and Micah
