I spoke with Dad today. He said he is about the same, no improvement. He spoke with Dr. Roth's (the surgeon at MDA) assistant today, and she seemed very concerned that Dad was having this much trouble with his breathing, speech, heart rate (still high, above 100 when resting), and fever (yesterday it spiked at 101.8) She said she is baffled. She was going to talk with the Dr. and get back with him. Continue to pray for wisdom and direction about all this.

Thank you JJ for these updates. It is such a blessing to read that so many faithful friends and family are praying for Mike & Jan every day. Even though there remains questions, concerns and difficulties with the healing process, know that this family of Christian prayer warriors will continue to stay before the Lord asking Him to bring recovery & healing soon.

JJ -- I'm Judy's sister-in-law Laura. I work with a man who went through this same exact surgery about 6 months ago. He said you guys can feel free to contact him with any questions. He, too, had pneumonia and some the same symptoms as your dad. It might be helpful to hear from someone who has come through all this with restored health and energy.
