Today is Mom and Dad's 40th wedding anniversary. They celebrated by sitting on the porch this morning reflecting over God's blessings in their lives over the past 40 years. What a testimony!! They are embracing each day with such acceptance as to what the Lord has brought into their life at this time. No, this is probably not the way they would have chosen to spend their 40th, but none the less, a very sweet time for them.
Dad is doing about the same on breathing and talking. His fever has stayed down for another day, so praise God for that.
He is still having alot of swelling in the abdomen area, which may be contributing to the breathing problem. We need wisdom in this area as to what could be causing this.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, Mike and Jan. We celebrated 40 this year also on the 20th of July. We, like you, are so blessed with what God has done during these 40 years. We wish this day would have been a better situation. We have all praised God through the years for all the good things he has done and we must praise him as much during the low points. As I am sitting here writing this, my mind has brought a hymn to me---
Be not dismayed what e'er be-tied, God will take care of you; Beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you.
No matter what may be the test, God will take care of you; Lean, weary one, upon His breast, God will take care of you.
GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU, THROUGH EVERY DAY, O'ER ALL THE WAY; HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU, GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!!!!
We continue to pray for you every day and think of you many times a day. These reports that JJ sends are such a blessing to all, as we want to keep up with Mike's progress.
Mike, keep eating, doing your breathing exercises, and fighting this battle.
