Day +49

Wow, almost half way through the first critical 100 days post transplant!! And those were supposed to be spent IN DALLAS, but glory to God, Mom IS HOME!! Hallelujah! We are so so thankful that she continues to do well and got to go home to the ranch on Friday!!

Jamie and Reese, Jamie's youngest, had an appointment in Dallas on Friday morning and were able to pick Mom up and take her home to the ranch.  What a wonderful day and a wonderful welcome home!

Packing up the apartment!!

Heading Home!!

Cross J Ranch!!

Tara and the girls had hung balloons and signs!!

We will keep you posted as Mom continues to recover and grow new healthy blood.  All we can say is Thank you Lord.  We are grateful for every day, and that God continues to give us MORE days with Mom.  So thankful, so grateful for each of you that continue to pray for her and for our family.  We don't deserve more days or blessing or favor, it is only His grace and His new morning mercies that continue to give us every day, the breath in our lungs, and the strength to get out of bed.  All I can say is thank You for today.  Tomorrow is another day with it's own struggles, but we are grateful for today.

Celebrating with you,
JJ

Day +42

What a week Mom has had!

She has been able to have some wonderful visits from family and dear friends and this has been such a blessing and encouragement to her.

She had her bone marrow biopsy last week, and received the initial results, but today we received some wonderful news! She found out that the bone marrow donor‘s blood cells have taken over 95% of the blood production! The doctor expects this to eventually move to 100%! Because she is doing so well, she will get to go home sometime later this week, to the ranch!!

We are just praising the Lord for His grace and mercy and this unexpected shortening of her stay in Dallas! We are so excited to share this with all of you that are continuing to pray for Mom’s healing. Thank you all so very much!

Keep it up as we move toward these different bench marks of 100 days, then 6 months, and then a year.  These are significant in the bone marrow transplant time table. Each bench mark is another hurdle Mom has cleared toward full recovery and her body not rejecting the donor cells and developing graft vs. host disease

Praising God with each of you over this wonder wonderful news!!

Love,

JJ

Day +33

We received some wonderful news this weekend!! Friday Mom found out that the initial report from the Bone Marrow Biopsy shows NO LEUKEMIA!! We are praising God and thanking Him!! She said she would find out a more detailed report this next week.

Honestly, I don't even really understand all this exactly and what it means, but this sure sounds good to me!! We are so thankful, so keep praying that she will continue in this direction.

Pray against any infection, and also against the graft vs. host disease.

I just had to share this with all those that are lifting her up daily!! It is so good to hear the good report and join together in praising God for this good news.  Thank you Lord!!

Also, another blessing, this weekend, after Jamie's crew came up to Stillwater for the Baylor/OSU game, they came back through Dallas to see Mom.  Sweet pictures below of a sweet visit!

Love,

JJ
