Dad is doing well.

Praise God! Dad is doing pretty good. He has been out mowing the last several days and getting out of the house more often to go work out at the Cleburne Fitness center, going to prayer meeting at church, and then to Jesse's football game last night. He feels so much better just being more productive. We are all praising the Lord with you that Dad has felt like doing all these things. The prayer request that we have now is that Dad's appetite would return. One down side of Dad getting out and working a little is that it makes him very tired, and when he gets back up to the house, he doesn't want to eat at all. Mom is continuing to fix him whatever sounds good to him, but usually if he has worked at all, he loses his appetite. Please pray that Dad can continue to work and feel productive, but that his priority would be to get the nutrition he needs. He has lost about 20 pounds, which was to be expected, but now we would like to slow that down, or begin to move back up a little. Thanks for being patient with me and the updates. Thanks also for praying.
In Him, JJ

Sure glad to hear the latest update that Mike is doing better. We pray daily for God's healing oil to flow thru Mikes body. Healing is a process and longer than most of us like, that's for sure. But God know's what he is doing, we all just have to trust him. And if there is one family that does that, it's the Janszen family. Jan we are praying for you also, we know how Mike can be, don't we (ha). JJ you have been such a sweetheart in doing this blog and keeping your mom and dad from answering so many phone calls and questions. I'm sure they are so glad that you have done this, I know we are.

Love and prayers

I knew Mike had to be better...I dreamed about him last night. I was driving down 174 near the ranch and I passed a man working, cutting down weeds near his fence. It dawned on me after I passed that it was Mike! I backed up, got out and gave him a great big hug! He looked so good...thin, but happy. Yay for God!!

Hi! This is Susie Hale who taught with Judy at GCS and had the privilege of tutoring Tulley when he was in 5th or 6th grade. I've been praying for you ever since Mike's name was mentioned in the after worship service prayer time at North Pointe Baptist. Glad to hear Mike is doing somewhat better. I will continue to lift you all up in prayer.
